Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol. Semua orang kagum dengan bahwa mereka melihat, tetapi melihat lebih dekat, kita sudah melihat 5 teknologi gila dan gadget yang sudah hidup.

1. Self Destruct iPhone

 

M.I. franchise is always known for its self destructing instruction material, whether it’s a video or recorded audio material. In the trailer, an (i) gadget is shown. In real life, iPhones are already capable of “self-destructing data”.

If you happen to lose your Apple phone, automated data erasure application is activated 

2. Self Destruct USB Flash Drive

 

Now, please when we say self destruct, it’s not the literal “explode into pieces”. Another possible gadget we’ve discovered is a removable drive capable of erasing data in a given period.

Great for those who are always storing “top-secret” files on their thumb drives. 

3. Adhesive Gloves Allow Wall Crawling

   

Agent Ethan Hunt (played by Tom Cruise) crawls up the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, like he was a Spiderman. That “blue is glue and read is dead” gadget is actually available in real world.

A research is being made about a special fabric that resembles the characteristics of lizard’s skin, enabling them to stick and walk onto walls.

 

4. Surface Computing 

 

The trailer shows an ordinary LCD computer screen turn into a table top computer. It’s not new but wait until you notice when Ethan Hunt puts down a device onto the screen and immediately displays information.

The technology captures any data stored on storage device that placed on the surface of a screen.

A protocol is now being developed by the team at Microsoft. The technology is called surface. It’s been tested on bars and restaurants. 

 

5. 5 BMW Vision Charges Battery While You Drive

 

This is no ordinary car. In this age where everything “green” is in, this car really wins. From what I have understood, to maximize energy and increase fuel efficiency, the car is actually converting the energy produced by its turning wheels into fuel.

So while you are driving, you are also charging the car.

Unfortunately, rubber masks, another trademark of Mission Impossible movies are still science fiction. But who knows one day, you could buy a Tom Cruise face, like an RTW on a department store.
